DESIGNER'S TIPS
Before you begin to plan out your event style, decorations and theme, find two or three key words that capture the essence of your concept. Do you want your party to be:

Capturing your key words will help you determine your theme. If your key word is ‘feminine' then barbecues are out and florals and petit fours are in!
Then think about your own personal style. What colours inspire you? What does your décor in your home look like? What fashions impress you? What are your favourite hobbies or passions? What movies or books do you love? What historical periods attract you? Permit yourself to become enchanted by the possibilities. Free yourself to indulge your fantasies and trust your intuition. Find a theme that delights you. It is, after all your party!
FAVOURITE THEMES
'Bling it on'
This theme is all glamour! Red Carpet VIP entrance, tables incorporating white table cloths, white chair covers with white organza wraps white ostrich feathers in silver vases, silver candleholders, diamonds and jewels centred on mirrors. This table theme will enhance any dining experience and bring the entire room to life!
'Tribal Groove'
Bring out the animal instinct in your guests! This fun and colourful setting features leopard print chair covers, tied with raffia and large leaf, chocolate table covers with Hessian runners, table centre of tribal masks amongst jungle grasses. With impact and attitude, Tribal Groove will have your guests talking about your function forever.
'Surfin’ Safari'
Catch a wave you will never forget. Coloured flags, surfboards, zinc cream, palm trees, beach balls, a volleyball net and real sand create a beach party bonanza - Australian style. Your table will feature white linen, chairs tied with vines. The table centre piece features a bed of sand topped with a sand castle with seashells, starfish and little tea light holders. This theme is hot!
'Gangster'
“Winter Wonderland”
This theme inspires a magical fairytale land. Simplicity and style is the essence of this unique setting. Walls draped with white satin drapes, covered with thousands of brilliant fairy lights, candelabra's with glowing candles, silver painted tortured willow, golden snowflakes hanging from the ceiling and an extensive lighting design and a mirror ball cluster add to this angelic atmosphere. Tables are covered in crisp white tablecloths with crystal organza overlays with clean white chair covers and silver star topers Just be sure to bring a coat... It may get chilly!
