With beach vibes on our mind, we’ve also decided this is the perfect time to highlight one of our favourite beachy venues, Sunshine Beach Surf Club. As far as wedding venues go, these guys are perfectly situated for you to live out your beach wedding dreams - and Splash Events are primed and ready to style that dream into reality.
We have worked closely with Sunshine Beach Surf Club since 2013, so when they took on a massive renovation last year we couldn’t have been more excited. Their launch in January 2020 brought us a practically brand new venue which complimented our style of decorating perfectly - sophisticated beach vibe is one of our specialties!
If you haven’t been to check it out yet, we’d be glad to fill you in on a few details.
Firstly, let’s talk about the grass terrace overlooking perfect ocean views. For lack of a better word - WOW. It’s seriously something special. An idyllic place to gather with your favourite people and exchange those vows. It’s also literally screaming for you to dine alfresco. Think super-long dream banquet table with a canopy of fairy lights.
For this photoshoot… We did two designs, one being a Hamptons Coastal style for an intimate alfresco dinner and the other was a cool cocktail vibe in their function room with earthy rust and mustard tones but keeping it beachy and complementing the ceremony.
Once you move inside to the Sunshine Beach Surf Club function room, the first thing you’ll notice are the views! The ocean is framed by the expansive large glass doors and it leaves you feeling like you could just jump right in. Can you even imagine the sunset? You’ll also notice the size of the room. You could literally swing an elephant in there.
We love big venues because it gives you all the space you need to create different zones. You can fit your dining tables, dance floor, DIY gin bar, chill-out zone - and more! The perfect combo for a killer party. It’s also a great space to work in a cocktail setting if you’re more into mingling. And if you’ve had a sneak peek at our warehouse, you’ll know we’ve got all the perfect furniture and props to fill the space. We are fully equipped to cater for any size event - so don’t hold back on our account.
Splash Events have been styling dreamy wedding and corporate events at Sunshine Beach Surf Club for over 7 years now, so having worked extensively in the old and new space, we have the advantage of styling your event with flawless execution and ease. Our familiarity also means we’re not afraid to push the boundaries and try new things. Even more so now that they’ve renovated - because who doesn’t love working with a fresh, blank canvas?
